Woolen fabric, strong red; appliqués of cotton fabrics, partly painted. The very large cross hanging shows in a central field in a landscape various scenes, probably from the legends about the Princess Manohari. The clothing shows the fashion in Burma in the late 19th c. The wide frame with squares with indented corners, filled with flowering branches. Woolen fabrics of this type were imported from the West in the late 19th c.
